It is common for people to experience a higher reading in their blood pressure when measured in a medical office, commonly referred to as White-Coat Hypertension. In other cases, movements and/or conversing during measurements may also result in inaccurate readings. Therefore, ForaCare developed the Automated Averaging (AVG) technology to overcome this issue, eliminating potential factors for interference and ensuring an accurate reading every time.

ForaCare’s AVG Technology conducts three measurements with a 20-second interval and averages them together, all within 3 minutes, to provide enhanced reliability through the automated weighted data. The three measurements taken through the AVG Technology create more data points for a more accurate and stable reading.
Any movements or breathing during the measurement are minimized and compensated for without the need for you to remain completely still. This essentially eliminates potential white-coat hypertension.
This technology can further be coupled with our Irregular Rapid Beat (IRB) technology to efficiently detect heart arrhythmias.
This ensures that ForaCare’s hypertension solutions only provide the highest accuracy suitable for self-monitoring and in professional settings. It allows you to be confident in your self-monitoring readings and puts you in control of your health, so you can live well.
